If they REALLY cared they would protest in China and India where the pollution to the world is uncontrolled...built then, that would involve REAL bravery, as THEY would have less than zero tolerance for it!
If they were as brave as they say they are, they would go where the pollution is TRULY harming the earth in China and India and protest there..but then, that would involve GENUINE bravery since the authorities would 'deal' with them less politely and then you'd see their real cowardice come out!

I really wish our police would treat the protesters in a similar manner, the ignorant lazy protesters need to be taught that it is not nice to spoil the lives of others. Our prisons need to be made harder and something to fear, the protesters need to be convicted and punished accordingly, maybe double the prison time each appearance in court. Make prisons basic and cheap, I would suggest an island somewhere off the coast of northern Scotland but anywhere would do (this goes for other offences as well)..! The quality of police in Britain has fallen drastically since the entrance qualification standards were greatly reduced in the name of diversity ,the first group that got in through these reduced standards have now risen to the top ,that's why the police are now protecting criminals instead of locking them up,it would be interesting to see how many of today's officers could pass the qualification standards from the mid Seventies, I don't think it would be too many

It's time to put protective screens in front of the art works and tell these Universities to expel these students who go out and put there Unis into disrepute as students they need to know better, thus security guard got the right idea the sooner the better we start fighting back at these zealots, pulling them off roads, running them over if need be we are not going to wait for the woke police to watch them give some water and ask them to leave ever politely is now what they expect and get away with. That's why they keep doing it. They get arrested, get a little slap on the wrist. They then get released, to do it all again. Put them in jail for longer, take away any benefits if they are on any, and heavily fine them. I think most people have had enough of them.
It started about 25 years ago, when the Service was bring sued for millions each year for wrongful arrest, etc. The Job found it cheaper to settle rather than fight the civil litigations. Bean counters got involved and The Management decided that arresting people was a BAD idea, so they started sanctioning officers with high arrest rates who managed to get three complaints. Let 25 years of corrosion take effect and voila, no one is interested in arrested because they wont be supported.

I think the zealots have psychological problems that becoming extremists and getting public attention satisfies. You can't fight that with logic. The best we can do is begin to be so punitive that it's painful to them. It should be great penalties for blocking traffic. Protesters who go to far need to be treated like naughty children and dealt with roughly. There have to be some penalties for going to far. I think a museum guard should have the power to handcuff them and call the police. Or handcuff them and wheel them to the front door rudely. There needs to be a plan to get rid of them. Put glass cases around the gallery pictures. Arrest the motorway protestors. Give them at least 3 years in prison,. The money this all costs is staggering! There is something seriously wrong in this Country. It seems that the Chief Constables are in charge and can ignore law passed by Parliament . There have been several instances of the law being broken by these protesters but no action has been taken why not? . The only conclusion you can take from this is that they have been instructed on what action to take by the GOVERNMENT.
The reason the authorities there see things differently is they do not have armies of lawyers living off legal aid defending these people.
